Give the goths a break

Okay, I am always seeing people rip on goths. Everywhere. There also seems to be the idea that we congregate at Hot Topic and spend our lives there. Seriously, people, if that's true, then all jocks are retards, all preps are whores, all smart kids are losers, and all adults can't figure out what era they're living in.

Here's what's really up: Goths have a cool wardrobe, but a lame state of mind. If you're gonna go around all day obsessing about death, you're already dead. Dressing in black is cool, purple hair is sweet, and those vampire fangs kick ass. But what's the point of ruling over humans if all you do with it is kill yourself? Talk about your ingratitude.

About Hot Topic: there's one at the mall five minutes from my house, and it's cool. There's red light, good music (most of the time) and funny shirts. I mean, come on, where else can you get a T-shirt that says "It's all fun and games until somebody loses an eye and then hey, FREE EYEBALL!"? Or one that compares guys to slinkies, because they're both fun to watch when they fall down the stairs? Where else can you get Zim stuff? Seriously, they're the only place that carries Zim stuff, and the only place I've ever seen Johnny. Speaking of which... No, I'm not even going to go into that.

Now, here I am not saying that ALL goths are cool. There are also Anne Gwish type people, but then again, there is not such thing as the word All, and all people who say there is, are losers.

Hence the ironic phrase, "All generalities are false."
