Other Characters
These guys just wander around doin' stuff.
Kikyo (KEE-key-o)
Kikyo was a priestess, or Miko, fifty years before the series began. She was a bit of an outsider, for although everyone
respected her, and she helped many people, not many actually knew her as a person. It was her charge to protect the shikon
no tama, and kill the many monsters who came to take it. The only demon she did not kill was Inuyasha, who she stopped time
and time again, but never actually hurt him. After awhile, they grew close. Kikyo eventually told Inuyasha that she would
give him the shikon no tama, if he would be a full human, instead of full demon, so he could be with her. He agreed, but when
she went to give him the jewel, it was not Inuyasha who she found, but Naraku, impersonating him. What she thought was happening
was Inuyasha attacking her, and stealing the jewel to become full youkai. She then pinned the real Inuyasha to a tree, and
retrieved the jewel. Instead of using it to keep her alive, she let herself die, attempting to follow Inuyasha to the afterlife.
You can tell her because she is supposed to look like Kagome, He hair is longer, and tied behind her back with a white
ribbon. She wears a white shirt and red pants, the traditional clothing of the miko. She also carries a bow and arrows. Her
eyes aren't as big as Kagome's either, but they are the same color.
Attacks: Sacred arrows, which are the same as Kagome's but more powerful. She also has her soul-carriers, which bring
souls to her and serve as trusty little minions. She has spiritual powers, and an assortment of goodies that she can pull
out of a hat at will, being dead and all.
There are two different Kikyos, which is why she is so hard to figure out. The pre-death Kikyo was a miko, whose job it
was to protect the sacred Jewel from Pretty Much Everyone Else. One of these was Inuyasha, who she truly did love. However,
this made the trick Naraku played even more biting, and she was filled with a deep hatred for Inuyasha. However, despite this
hatred, she still loved him, I guess, because after killing him she allowed herself to die and join him in the underworld,
instead of wishing on the Jewel to continue her life. When she was brought back to life by the witch Urasue, it didn't work
so well because her soul was already in use. She got possession of it for a short time, but then it returned to Kagome, leaving
Kikyo with only a shred of the soul, and a deep malevolent hatred for Inuyasha. Apparently, through the hatred, she still
likes him a bit, though. Maybe. Kikyo is a bit of an enigma.
She wants to be with Inuyasha, but she wants to kill him. She stole Kagome's shards of the Jewel to give to Naraku. When
he collects the whole thing she plans to drag him to hell, and that is the only thing about her that is certain. She's just
farting around causing problems for various people and helping random villagers, even though she is still filled with a deep
hatred, until Naraku gets the whole jewel, a t which point she will take him to hell and destroy the jewel. I guess. Maybe.
Totosai
Totosai is another old friend of Inuyasha's father's. He was the one who made the Tessaiga, and shows up every once in
a while to heckle Inuyasha about being a weakling.
He has a three-eyes cow which he rides around. Not much more on him.
Jinenji
Jinenji is a kind hanyou, who lives with his elderly mother. He likes Kagome, mostly because she didn't scream and run
when she first saw him. (Jinenji is not a humanoid hanyou) He lives on a farm where he and his mother grow herbs that are
remedies to many things. Ever since he gave Kagome some plants to save Kirara, they've been friends.
Tsuki
Tsuki was a priestess who wanted to be the one to purify the jewel, but couldn't because her heart was evil. She placed
a curse on Kikyo so that if she ever fell in love, she would die an untimely death (That one worked exactly like it was supposed
to)
She was incredibly beautiful until during a fight with Kikyo, where her attack was sent back at her, marring her face.
Fifty years later, she used powers as a dark preistess to bring back her beauty, but again, she fought Kagome, who sent
her attack back at her, and that pretty much killed her.
Tsuki was briefly employed by Naraku, and she used her power to possess Kagome, and force her to fight Inuyasha.
